East Los Angeles Women's Center, Los Angeles California

the East Los Angeles Women’s Center provides culturally competent services to women and children, focusing on sexual, domestic, and family violence and HIV/AIDS. It does this by being an effective, culturally-relevant, public advocate and a trusted personal and community resource for crisis intervention, prevention, education, clinical services, and support.

Its 24-hour crisis hotline has provided over 30 years of continuous assistance to survivors of rape and sexual assault, domestic violence and HIV/AIDS throughout Greater Los Angeles. The East Los Angeles Women’s Center is proud of its long-standing commitment to providing culturally competent services tailored to meet the unique needs of Latino families and build safer healthy communities.
