Introducing Carrie Rambo

We are very excited to welcome Carrie Rambo into the newly created role of business manager at NetRaising. Carrie is a poised business administrator who holds over two decades of office management and systems development expertise. Her 12+ years of paralegal work in the areas of litigation and probate law brings the know-how and tenacity needed for our growing business. She continues to pass along her knowledge as a frequent guest speaker for legal-assistant training programs.

NetRaising hosts our clients in four world-class data centers located in Portland Oregon, Fremont California, McLean Virginia and Minneapolis Minnesota.

We lease servers, server-space and individual hosting accounts from some of the best direct hosting providers in the business including ServInt Internet Services, EngineHosting and Infinity Internet.

We utilize a mix of VPS (Virtual Private Servers), Shared Hosting, Load-Balanced Shared Hosting and our own Dedicated Servers to match each client’s needs with the best possible hosting situation.

In April of 2007 we added a new dedicated server housed in Infinity Internet’s co-location facility in Portland Oregon. This is a secure 10,000 square-foot, climate-controlled carrier-grade data center.

Similar to other locations we use, the new Portland Data Center includes redundant HVAC environmental cooling systems, AC and DC power options, raised floors, fire suppression systems, 24 x 7 key card protected access, battery UPS back-up to 750 kilowatt generator, seismically braced racks and cabinets, OC-12 and OC-48 redundant fiber optic connections to the Internet backbone, plus constant temperature and humidity monitoring and 24 x 7 x 365 network monitoring and support.

As if that wasn’t enough, to further secure our client’s websites and email at the Portland Data Center, we have contracted with a company based in Lafayette, Indiana called TouchSupport to monitor our servers every 4 minutes of the day 24/7, provide emergency back-up technical support, scheduled technical support, security and log monitoring and nightly off-site backups.

It helps us sleep at night.
