2016 Annual Benefit Report

NetRaising supported approximately 200 websites for nonprofits and schools during 2016. The business continues to be financially profitable. NetRaising began it’s Green Website Initiative in January. NetRaising hired it’s first 2 full-time employees in March; creating one new position and transitioning one existing role into an employee position. NetRaising was granted a trademark for the brand “NetRaising” in April.

During the summer NetRaising freshened its own brand and launched a new eco-friendly, sustainable website that serves as a model of current web-sustainability best practices. NetRaising became a verified service provider with the Nonprofit Association of Oregon in July and was honored to receive a Gold Certification in Sustainability through the City of Portland Oregon’s Sustainability at Work program in August. During the fall, NetRaising participated in Portland State University’s B Impact Consulting Program.
