2017 Annual Benefit Report
NetRaising supported approximately 180 websites for nonprofits and schools during 2017. The business continues to be both socially and financially profitable. Our Senior Web Consultant that was part of NetRaising for nearly 10 years retired in April. All of this year’s new websites took advantage of our more environmentally friendly development practices as part of our ongoing Green Website Initiative. NetRaising completed our second recertification process as a Certified B Corporation.

Financial Sustainability
Client Retention:
- 94% of website projects were for existing clients
New Client Development:
- 3 clients were new to us in 2017
Debt/Investors:
- 0 (zero) unsecured debt balance carried beyond any 30-day period
Revenue:
- 14% increase in gross revenue
- 60% increase in net revenue
- 17% increase in pre-contracted services
- 77% of revenue came from pre-contracted services
Expenses:
- 32% of revenue went to the owner as compensation
- 7% of revenue was set aside for future reinvestment
- 61% of revenue went to employees, associates, and other expenses
