Kurt and his team deliver high-quality work with beautiful results. As a small nonprofit, we appreciate the time taken to explain, guide, and assist with our web-based project.

Kurt always has solutions and suggestions to improve our web experience. He also takes time to answer other web-based questions and to listen to our “dreams” of what we’d love to be able to do. Amazingly enough, he always leads us to realize those dreams.

Every one at CAT wholeheartedly recommends Kurt and his NetRaising team. They are a great value, a great partner, a great resource, and great people!

CAT gives NetRaising a rousing PURR of approval.

I just wanted to say that we are exceedingly grateful for everything you guys have done for us, and on a personal level, you are just a dream to work with. I’ve heard rave review comments from various coworkers about how great the website looks, how smooth the user experience is, and how responsive you guys are whenever we raise issues or need your help with anything. And those comments have not gotten any less enthusiastic over time.

You have been invaluable advisers and partners over the past 8 years and made my job so much easier for your consistency of service and professionalism. Thank you - it’s been a real pleasure!

Previous comment from Amelia.... Thank you thank you thank you, Kurt and Megan, for your incredible, consistently professional support throughout this site rebuild. I could not be more pleased with the results nor with how much I've been able to learn throughout the process through your patient and thorough tutelage.

NetRaising has been a true partner.

In addition to building a beautiful website, they helped us design an event page to showcase a special meeting we sponsored, and they crafted an annual report for us on our website, along with a shorter print version.

The staff is helpful and responsive. Overall, an A+.

Thank you, Kurt! In more ways than one.

You were my first introduction to the world of design and development. I’m so grateful for that because you showed me how possible it is to take something stressful, scary, complex, and technical and make it accessible, manageable, approachable, and achievable for people - all while being a respectful and kind (and patient) person!

That experience has stuck with me. I kid you not when I say that it was one of the things that motivated me to start my own freelance design business 4 years ago, despite alllllll the reservations and fear and uncertainty and self-doubt.

I knew there was a place in this industry for someone who was as knowledgeable as they were patient - who saw clients as partners, not as a necessary evil. I’ve worked with a lot of whacky (to put it nicely) “designers” and “developers” and “consultants” over the years and through it all, I remind myself - there are Kurts in the world, and that’s the kind of professional I want to be. So THANK YOU!!

Portland Youth Philharmonic developed a new website two years ago with NetRaising, using the ExpressionEngine platform. We have been totally happy with their design, which we worked out together, and we have control over editing nearly everything on the website. We have special password-protected sections of the website for our Board of Directors and for parents of musicians. We have an Alumni section visible and accessible to all, a blog links to YouTube and social media, and have recently begun posting extended program notes as well.

The content editing platform is easy to use. I am a Development person, not a Marketing/Communications person, and I can edit content as needed, and so can any number of other staff members. Our Communications Manager is the primary one who updates daily, maintains the homepage, concert schedules, and the blog.

A major selling point for us was being able to pay for the site development over two seasons. I recommend NetRaising highly and welcome you to check out PYP’s website at portlandyouthphil.org. NetRaising has built websites for several music organizations and other nonprofits in our area. Be sure to check them out before making a decision.
