The Center for Hope & Safety has served the community of Oregon’s Mid-Willamette Valley since 1973 when volunteers organized a rape crisis line.
The Center for Hope and Safety employees and volunteers, provide confidential person-centered advocacy, 24-hour crisis support, education, emergency shelter, and safety planning assistance. It offers support to victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking. Programs and services aim to inform survivors of their options and support them in their choices. It works with survivors of any race, color, creed, religious belief, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
